Entrusted Week 2 – The Anatomy of Conviction

Eventually What You Believe Will Be Tested — Conviction Holds

There's a difference between having a belief and being convicted of its truth. Belief is passive — something you accept because you were raised with it or it's comfortable. Conviction is active — it's what happens when your belief gets tested and holds. In this message, Pastor James walks through 2 Timothy 1:8–18 and three things that form the anatomy of conviction: know what you believe, know whom you believe, and guard the truth you've been given. Paul is sitting in a Roman prison, chains on his wrists, facing execution — and he's not ashamed. Because he doesn't just know about Jesus. He knows Jesus. Will your conviction hold when the pressure comes?
