The gospel doesn't;t just judge us, it justifies us. In the story of the gospel it doesn't start pretty. In fact it begins with a dark reality that we're dead and enemies of God with no hope. Then by God's great love. He stepped in and justified us by the blood of Jesus! Now we aren't just slaves, but we're sons and daughters of God and as disciples who are following Jesus we must live into this reality!
