No Longer Captives

Look a the Lord’s love, not just the letter of the “Law.” Even though the Law was meant to be beautiful and right and it is, it is like a mirror showing us our self-reliance driven by fear of condemnation and consequence. Whether that is in areligious context or a non-religious context the human condition pulls us in this direction. And Pauls is encouraging us that we can't fulfill the law on our own, and that is why we need Jesus, and why we live by the power of the Holy Spirit! We've been redeemed by Him and that also gives us the power to walk with Jesus and live for Him.
