Foundations Week 7 – A Life Worth Living
A Life With God Is a Life Worth Living
In 60 AD, a man shipwrecked on an island called Malta. He was bitten by a snake. The locals thought he was cursed — then thought he was a god. He spent three months sharing the gospel, and to this day 92% of native Maltans are Christian. Every February 10th, the whole country celebrates the day Paul's ship went down — because that was the day the gospel found them. In this message, Jon Muench walks through 1 Timothy 4:1–10 and five things that happen when we grab hold of God's truth: we begin to see deception for what it is, we begin to see Him as a good God, we begin to be nourished and nourish others, we start to become spiritually fit, and we begin to live a life worth living. The pain and striving is nothing compared to the moments with God you'll experience — and the impact it will make.
