Lowell Routley

Non-Sitting Elder

Lowell Routley and his wife, Terry, came to RCC in 2016 when they moved to Texas to retire and be near the grandchildren. They were both raised in Christian homes and trusted Christ as personal Savior as children. They met in college and married in 1967, after knowing each other for 8 months. They just celebrated 52 years of marriage.

Lowell and Terry heard Pastor Bill the first Sunday they were in Texas. They heard the emphasis on the relational ministry of RCC that Lowell hoped to find with the move to Texas. Lowell has been actively doing the work of an elder and discipling believers for many years of his Christian walk. Lowell joined the Elder Board early in 2018.

At RCC, Lowell and Terry love their life group and other opportunities to serve. Lowell does Life Coaching with individuals. Terry and Lowell also coach couples to find a deeper relationship with each other through Christ.

They have two daughters, Mona and Paula. Mona lives in Omaha, and is a school psychologist. She is very involved in ladies ministry and Celebrate Recovery at her church. Paula is married to Dan Headley and they have four great kids: Lydia, Micah, Noah and Josiah. The kids are very active in athletics and drama so Lowell and Terry cheer them on at lots of games and attend other programs.
